Pressure gauge controls the water pressure. Jockey, duty and standby pump's working depends upon the water pressure. Jockey will automatically cut-in and cut-out the water, but in duty and standby auto cut-in only. Cut-out is done manually.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a clean and efficient fire extinguisher agent. It is colorless, non-conductive and non corrosive inert gas which evaporates without leaving any residue after discharge.

CO2 works by smothering the flames and reducing the flames and reducing the oxygen content in the vapor phase of fuel or both in the air to the point where the combustion stops.

The system is designed to operate automatically by actuation of the alarm sensing device or the CO2 gas can be fired by operating the electrical key switch located outside the protected room. The CO2 fire extinguishing system can be controlled and activated by manual, mechanical trigger systems or by automatic fire detection systems.

The system distribution piping design is base on computer aided hydraulic calculation which will give the pressure loss in line, correct pipe size, complete discharge time and discharge nozzle orifice size selection. This is important to avoid the formation of ice flakes plugs in pipeline caused by cross-sectional pressure loss before nozzle fall below 5.6 bar.

On the other hand, CO2 can extinguish fire either by gas, fog or snow according to the requirement through the nozzle selection

Hose Reel Sysem

This system is very simple to put into use and is effective even with one Man Operation. The minimum water pressure required for this system is approx. 03 bar. The length of the standard hose is 25 mtrs. and can cover an area within the 25 mtrs radius. The water would be on line during the whole period of its storage and the moment the Gate Valve is opened, the water would be realeased to an minimum distance of 10 feet.

The nozzle for this particular system can be adjusted to spray wide or pointing the source of the fire depending on the scale of the fire. The water pump that releases the water trough this hose is activated and deactivated as and when the nozzle is switched on or off. In case apart from the nozzle, additional control is required to regulate the pressure of water flow, a PRESSURE REGULATOR VALVE (PRV) has to be provided in the pipeline between the pump and the hose reel location.

Automatic & Manual Water Spray System

This system too is very simple in its design and implementation. It basically consists of sprays or open nozzles that are mounted or fixed to the ceiling or walls at an interval of 5 feet. These are independent and do not involve any individual mechanism. This incorporates the dry pipeline system whereby the water is never in the pipeline till the moment the valves are opened.

The system has two valves in its pipeline in which water is at a pressure of 7 bar. The water is kept out of the spray area (actual location) by a set of two gate valves. The first valve is the primary valve (Which is closed by default) and the second valve is the standby valve (Which is in open position by default). The system starts to spray water that is run through the pipeline at 7 bars the moment the primary valve is opened. Since the system incorporates simple and easy to use gate valve mechanism, it can be operated by one man alone.
